Consider these color-topped Natural Chalices for Lent, World Communion Sunday, or any season. These chalices, variations of our "Natural" pattern, are simple and under-stated like our original Natural, but a little different. They are available as SPECIAL ORDER, usually requiring a six-week lead time, though we try to have at least one of each color on hand, AND WE HAVE A FAIR SELECTION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.
The color-topped chalices are a variation of our Natural pattern, which is produced from blended clays. Some things to expect when ordering the "Natural" style of our pottery:
Glazed minimally (for safe use) in your choice of colors on inside and rim of cup.Unpredictable and irregular shades of brown in the blended stoneware clays which are used to produce the ware (notice the differences in picture above.)Well-crafted, but with color variations from piece to piece, even within a group of pieces ordered together.The Chalice will contain approximately 10 to 12 oz. and is about 7.5" high. Available Paten, unglazed, is approximately 9.5" in diameter.NO carved cross on the chalice available in this style.
